Shindig is…

a collaboration between Greer Goodman-Marks and Melissa McNeeley, dreamt up over the course of short naps, late nights and occasional drinks. Shindig was born from the desire to plan (and attend) inspired parties in cool spaces and to provide event planning services to a community that is tired of parties that are too plain, too gendered or too precious (that’s not to say we can’t do pirates or princesses, we’ll just do them better).

Melissa McNeeley has worked in NY and LA’s catering and event-planning industries for over twelve years. A highly respected industry professional, Melissa's reputation for discretion, flexibility and extraordinary attention to detail sets her apart. Melissa’s son turned two in April and hosted a dinosaur party unlike any you’ve ever seen.

Greer Goodman-Marks has a background in Interior Design and Art Direction. She brings a keen eye, big-picture creative vision and a modern sensibility to Shindig. Greer’s son turned three in March, and threw the best old school dance party of the year, complete with a mixtape swap, gold macaroni chains and a DJ (and dear friend) of international renown.
